Kirk Boyle specializes in literary theory and cultural studies. He has published articles in Jump Cut, Film-Philosophy, The International Journal of Žižek Studies, and The Journal of Philosophy and Scripture. After completing his Doctorate in English and Comparative Literature at the University of Cincinnati in 2009, he joined the English faculty at Francis Marion University as an Assistant Professor, where he teaches Writing for Disciplines, Introduction to Literature, and Introduction to Film Studies courses.
