Playsheet Instructions

You will see a document in your folder on Dropbox called “PlaysheetForm.pdf.” It is a fillable form that you will use for each play you read.

1. You have to open it in Adobe Acrobat reader. It’s free, download it here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/.

2. EACH time you open the form, FIRST “Save As” with your lastname.firstname.playtitle.  Larsen.Dawn.Antigone.pdf.

3. When you click in each text box, you should be able to fill in the text, checks, choices.

4. Make sure you SAVE at the end.

Grading

30 points total

.5 each –year written, year set, genre, presentational vs representation, stage directions, main conflict =3

1 each – playwright, locale, time set in (day, season, etc.) =3

2 each – settings, props, playwright message, themes =8

4 each – protagonist/antagonist, author’s life =8

8 each  - how does this play relate to history =8

2 extra credit points – final thoughts
