Industry Experience

Faurecia Interior Systems
Process Engineering Intern

Developed a scrap management system by designing a scrap area and also developing a scrap management software system. This resulted in scrap reduction of 30%.

Research

I have been a research assistant on several industry-sponsored projects while a graduate student at Clemson University. I have worked with BMW, ZF Transmissions, and Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI)

My research interests are:

  • Impact of manufacturing knowledge on engineering creativity

  • Use of data (learning) analytics to assess and improve engineering education

  • Standardization of manufacturing processes using data- and knowledge-intensive methods

  • Application of data mining and machine learning approaches to improve efficiency of manufacturing processes

  • A list of my publications can be found here
