Environmental Science and Studies at FMU

Overview

Francis Marion University has environmental options for both majors and non majors.  Non majors may choose between an Environmental Studies minor or collateral.  The Department of Biology also offers an Environmental Science option for majors.  This option is for students interested in careers in the environment, conservation, wildlife, forestry, fisheries and related fields.  Requirements are similar to the basic biology major, but there is more of a focus on discipline specific courses such as ecology, conservation biology, GIS, etc.
