FMU Environmental Science and Studies:

Research and Internships

Students at Franics Marion University regularly assist faculty with their research projects as well as conduct their own independent projects.  Student’s regularly present their work at campus, regional and national conferences.

Once each semester, the Department of Biology’s Program for Undergraduate Research Experience (PURE) hosts a symposium highlighting current student research.  Regionally students attend the annual Association of Southeastern Biologists Meeting or the South Carolina Academy of Sciences Meeting.  National meetings attended depend on the particular discipline of their faculty mentor.
