Club Officers: To keep up with SGA's Guidelines for Student Organizations please see the FMU's Student Organization Guide and Policy Handbook! It contains information about re-registering the club each year, reserving rooms and facilities for club meetings and activites, submitting updated club reports when officer elections happen, downloading the fundraiser form, and other important club duties. If the club wants to plan an event on campus (fundraisers, invite speakers, or activities), put up posters around campus, get events listed in the campus paper, or place notices or advertisements on mass media open to the public, please consult the online Planning Events & Programs, Guidelines and Responsibilities, and fill out space reques and service request forms (available in Bio office). It is up to you to be familiar with rules, regulations, and procedures for club activities. If you ever have questions please ask the Associate Dean of Students, LaTasha Brand, or the Dean of Students, Teresa Ramey.

This semester's activities:

Club meeting, Wed Feb 7th - LSF 202 4-5 pm We'll discuss the 1st bake sale.

Meeting minutes: We discussed having people bake items and sit tables for the bake sale. We also discussed the upcoming K9 unit demo (Feb 22, 4pm at Baptist Collegiate Ministries) by the Florence Sheriff's department. Please spread via word-of-mouth about this event. We'd like a great turnout, as this is an honor that the Sheriff's office would come out with their K9 unit for the club!

1st Bake Sale, Tue Feb 13, 10:30am - 1:00pm, Founder's Breezeway (Valentine theme!). We need volunteers to bake and to sit tables!
Awesome job with the first bake sale! We made enough money to help with costs of our Riverbanks zoo trip! :)

Supply Drive for the Marion County Humane Society (Feb 16 - Mar 16): We have placed donation boxes at various places across campus. Shout out to Chandler Holmes and Liz Floyd for getting donations from around Florence before we even started the drive! We will need A LOT of help Mar 16th to retrieve the boxes, and then we'll need help (does anyone have a truck with a trailer???) to transport all of these supplies to the Marion shelter Sat Mar 14th.

Florence County Sheriff's K-9 Unit Demonstration, Wed Feb 22, 4-5pm at the Baptist Collegiate Ministries. Don't miss this! It's going to be fun and educational!
